Dallas Winter ActivitiesLet’s be honest. This is Texas. We don’t handle the cold well, but staying indoors all day hiding from the weather is boring. With that in mind we decided to compile a list of our favorite things to do in Dallas while the weather throws its tantrum. Also, you may want to save this list. Typically the worst conditions for North Texas happen in February.

Bumper Car Madness at Whirlyball

At some point we all need to come to accept that the Cowboys are not in the playoffs, but some of us have trouble watching playoff football because of it. Here is a great way to expel some of that competitive energy/anger by smashing into friends and family and showing them your complete dominance! Just call your team name the Cowboys and it’s just like they’re still playing… right?

The Many Museums in Dallas

If you haven’t been to one of the several museums in Dallas recently, you are missing out. All of the museums ave gotten more and more impressive in one way or another. If you want to learn more about the world around you in a fun and interactive way, then look no further than the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. If you want to be completely amazed at the beauty people can make, check out the Dallas Museum of Art. These are no longer places reserved for school field trips. Any one of the museums in Dallas are capable of amazing you if you just give them a chance.

Indoor Skydiving

Yep, that’s not a typo. Indoor Skydiving with iFly in Frisco! I feel like there isn’t much to say about this. Instead of  getting in a plane, flying up in the sky, and jumping into the incredibly freezing air; you can just jump in a room and let yourself lift off the ground. This isn’t something exclusive for thrill seekers. It’s safe, simple, and local to North Texas. If you haven’t considered doing this yourself, check it out.
